Spring Season 2020 Cancelled, Fall Evals delayed...

Dear FCExeter Soccer Families,

As we live through these extraordinary times, we wanted to give you an update on spring and fall seasons. For the safety of our community players and families, the NNESL has decided to cancel the spring season. The League is planning to explore soccer playing alternatives for the summer months, should they be deemed safe to occur, and we will keep you apprised of those plans as they develop.  The EYSA board has elected to return Spring Registration fees.  They will be processed and returned in the manner in which they were paid, and these funds should be returned over the course of the next week.  If you would like to donate any portion of your Spring Registration fees to our Player Scholarship Fund, please notify Jennifer Young, [email protected] by midnight Monday, May 4 and include your player name and the amount you wish to donate. Donations to this fund are used to assist FC Exeter families in paying club registration fees for the Fall and Spring seasons.

Fall Season and Evaluations

With respect to the Fall Season and evaluations, we are delaying our initially planned evaluation date of May 30.  At this point, we are hopeful that it will be considered safe to hold evaluations at a later date this summer, and we will communicate that information when we are able.

We anticipate opening Fall 2020 registration by May 11 at www.fcexeter.com.  Please note that we are transitioning to a new website vendor, Sports Engine, so the registration process will have a similar, but not identical, feel.  Families will have the option of a payment plan which requires making a nominal $20 initial registration payment, with the remainder due in equal payments on August 1 and September 1.  We hope this will help families space out their financial obligations.  Please note that we also have a financial assistance program available to help cover these fees should you need it - information and applications are available on our website.

On behalf on the entire FCExeter Board of Directors, we hope all of you are safe and remain healthy through these difficult times.

Sincerely,

Marc Chabot, President FCExeter
